This spring Masterweave embarked on a project to give back to our local rural community. Many children growing up on farms care for orphaned lambs. They feed, play and love these lambs and many keep them for years as pet sheep :).
We have created lamb jackets using seconds and by-product from our production of mohair and alpaca throws. These jackets will add a layer of warmth that the lambs miss out on not having a mum to cuddle up to.
We will be distributing a pack containing various colours and patterns all Wairarapa rural schools and by request throughout New Zealand.
